It is a pleasure to announce that ๐๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐๐ข๐ง๐ฎ๐ฌ has started developing a Model for subsidizing measures to increase energy efficiency in the housing sector of the Municipality of Pljevlja, Montenegro.
The main objectives of the project are to reduce air pollution in the Municipality of Pljevlja, through subsidizing EE measures on the outer envelopes of residential buildings, replacement of coal stoves / boilers and other solid fuels with certified pellet stoves / boilers.
Another goal is to establish a sustainable Model for support and implementation of EE measures and replacement of coal boilers / furnaces and other solid fuels whose implementation will continue in the future in the Municipality of Pljevlja, but will also be an example for other municipalities in Montenegro that will be able to replicate the Model.
These activities are carried within the project “Growing Green Business in Montenegro” and implemented by UNDP in Montenegro in cooperation with Municipality of Pljevlja.
