Our energy efficiency expert, Elvis Hadzikadic participated as a panelist at the “Energy Efficiency First” panel during the 5th day of SECW – Sarajevo Energy and Climate Week. Mr. Hadžikadić emphasized that while innovation is essential in Bosnia and Herzegovina, it’s not always about new technology – it’s about changing the way we think. He highlighted how shifting our mindset can lead to better utilization of existing energy efficiency technologies but in more impactful ways. We are pleased to share that Plus Minus Engineering & Consulting recently conducted a detailed energy audit of the inpatient O-I building for the Public Institution General Hospital “Prim.dr. Abdulah Nakaš”. Our detailed analysis, which included extensive measurements, provided valuable insights into the building’s current energy consumption, efficiency characteristics and feasibility of implementing energy efficiency improvements. In the upcoming period, the General Hospital will start installing thermal insulation on the exterior facade of the inpatient O-I building, in addition to the ongoing roof reconstruction.
