The Power of Carbon Accounting: Green Accounting” training for SMEs in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Last week, our colleagues Adela Maksumić and Enis Ivković, representatives from Plus Minus Engineering & Consulting, took part in “The Power of Carbon Accounting: Green Accounting” training for SMEs in Bosnia and Herzegovina. This training was part of the Green Agenda Innovation Acceleration (GAIA) project and took place from May 13 to May 17. Supported by the EU and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development through the “Innovations and Digitalisation of SMEs in BiH/EU4DigitalSME” project, this training covered a wide range of topics: 🌱 Understanding environmental challenges and implementing best practices in environmental management. 🌱  Recognizing the significance of social responsibility and its impact on business success. 🌱 Emphasizing the importance of ethical business practices and establishing robust corporate governance structures. 🌱 Gaining insights into due diligence processes and preparing for the implementation of the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM). The GAIA project is a collaborative effort implemented by the Sarajevo School of Science and Technology, the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina,Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad, and Inovaciono preduzetnički centar Tehnopolis/Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center Tehnopolis.
